Public Service Announcement

Go to these places, I’m saying this for your own good.

Elephant and Castle – a delightful British influenced spot in the West Village. Their brunch is superb, and the setting is rustic and quaint without trying to be too trendy. Get there early because it will be packed. ORDER THE WARM MILK WITH ORZATA. (Shout out to Grace) It is steamed milk with the most incredible almond flavor. I am such a fool for almond. If almond isn’t your thing well then…I just really don’t know what to tell you. Or how to relate to you.

Peasant – This Nolita restaurant is AMAZING in both ambience and food, but there is a wine bar next to it, owned by the restaurant, that is a true hidden gem. Down a stone staircase into a dimly lit, wonderfully rustic, almost castle-like space. Great wines, expertly done Italian food.  Believe me, you will be happy you went.

Ok fine YES you can treat me to both of these places as a thank you for letting you know…

Need a recommendation for dinner near 242 West 45th Street! Going to see Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theather with Eileen and Suzanne.
