For the 1.5 of you out there reading this – what would YOU like to see on Snacks and the City?

Have you seen a gross menu item?

An NY restaurant you are curious about?

Perhaps a baked good you’ve enjoyed?

Gimme your input!

well i really truly do wish that i was able to snack in the city so that i could leave a comment… are there any restaurants in the city that you could highlight that specilize on scallion and mushroom patches?

  2. Dear SaC,

Go and try this soup at Gam Mee Ok in Korea block. It call su long tang…. it’s a meal and perfect…. don’t forget to add salt and scallions which are placed conveniently on each table.

me thinks you will like it. plus the atmosphere is like the chinese restaurant in Existenz.

Leandra, reading this blog, makes my day. while being a picky eater, and not frequently venturing out of my norm – chicken and cheese – I get the urge to expose my taste buds to items you describe that I definitely have never desired. Like, a BLT, what can I say, the pic made it look good. Anyway, just wanted to express that every time there is a new posting, I get excited, and then, I get hungry- is that your point?

If you ever run out of things to write about, which would be impossible, you can always try and go back to the day I took you and Giavanna took Bojangles. Now, I know Bojangles is no NYC gem, but your readers deserve to know about the delicacies Bojangles serves! 🙂 miss you! Come back to DC soon, or plan on seeing my face up north asap!

I’ve been meaning to try out this scottish restaurant in the West Village..name is escaping me at the moment. There are always people lining up inside, which leads me to think they offer quite an extensive menu with deliciousness to match. I have never had the chance to partake in a Scottish meal before, but would love to hear your take. Red awning on 7th ave between 13th & 14th.
